Didn't catch it, but from what I've heard there were only 200 built apparently, and 0-60 takes 8 seconds. Where do there do their research???

So is "branding".

If the viewing public all think a tubo car gets to 60 in 8,
this will have a big impact on image and future interest/prices.

Just think of the cars you are not interested in, it is probably because you have a perception about a poor part of them or their brand.

If it was the retro car show with all the 21 turbos in the background then it was 'der presidents' white one or Shadis pearl one and my yellow a310.

That's what I was thinking, but I didn't want to seem too negative. Although, if you're truly going to buy one of these fantastic machines you're not going to do it on the back of that program. Methinks you'd do a bit more research than that! I didn't know much about the car or it's heritage before I was offered mine, but I sure as hell knew a fair bit before I took the plunge. I found this site!!! :D

Yes, I saw that programme and noticed the Alpines in the background. What car show was that you were at then?

The retro car show at Santa Pod in june, with Tony Smith, Tony Law and Phildini amongst others. Good event and interesting trying a 1/4 mile.

Thankfully it was only on Sky no???? Sky's main audience tends to be in deprived estates so I doubt 2nd hand values will be effected very much!!!!
