I suspect the labour involved in removing the engine might bump that up a bit Steve. Thats a really rare car - you might turn a good profit on it if you re MOT it Rupert. There's a very loyal albeit small following for these cars - Theres a trader who sells them for really good money

Tony, I know what you are saying but I really only bought it to use for a while then take the engine for my GTA...
I have got to spend money on the suspension first tho' as it is a bit grim to drive at the moment, and I'm in no rush to do the engine conversion on the GTA so if it gets an MOT next May I will prob keep on using it.

eBay, don't you just love it? How did we ever before it?
I got a Rover 820sli, 12 months MOT, FSH, ex-directors car and I paid far too much, £700.
Apart from Insurance tax and petrol, which we all have to pay, I've done 11,00 miles in it and it's only cost me £40 for an oil change a door handle and a radiator expansion tank. If it passes MOT in March and I have no reason to doubt it, I'll just run it for another 12 months, else I'll just get another traded-in big car from ebay again.
A sports car for the weekend and a luxury car for the drudgedriving in the week.
