Octane boost?

Well I've seen a Skyline engine that was run on 95 ron with octane booster. Can you say "bang" ?

Point: Dangerous if used as a replacement for proper SUL, pointless if used with SUL.

Some seriously reputable motorsport manufacturers produce octane booster and have results to show it works (Millers for start!).
I suspect the Skyline site has a lot of wannabes who dont know what they are talking about posting on it......or perhaps they buy their octane boosters from Maxpower magazine

The problem is you're letting Joe Bloggs measure out his own levels of additive and add it to his tank

FYI, most of the 97&98 octane stuff etc is actually 95 with an additive pack that's injected on delivery when they're readying the tanker.

What's equally critical is that the petrol ages and degrades anyway so your best bet is finding a good petrol station that sells it pretty quickly and has good tanks. Oh and drive the GTA more so it doesn't sit around going off in the fuel tank anyway

Yup, I have heard the same "process" story from a friend of a friend who is a tanker driver.
