Sounds interesting? What engine and in what configuration? What chassis set up have you used?

Postby E M Wynne » Tue May 08, 2007 7:37 pm

Peterg,
As a retired ex-race car mech.I bought a crash damaged GTA, & then cut out the susp, turrets bulkhead, & the remains of the rear chassis from the back of the g,box. Constructed my own chassis to take a Z7XL....Bicarra bi-turbo...brand new....a UNI with Quaif internals &LSD in the north south config,
The susp.is fully adj.top - btm.front &rear A arms. shock. damp.. a.la single seater.
Brakes Willwood 330mm.6 pot fr. 4 pot r.

At presant building 310 chassis to take Saffrane eng&box complete inEast-Weat config......olso same to take24vl. in North South.

Not in blighty I suspect Andy!!! Sounds intriguing.....I'm hoping its not deja vu on the German 400bhp car that hadnt been run for a decade!!!!!

E M Wynne......what are you planning to do with this car? It sounds like a beast. What made you start with a GTA?
