Idle Bast##rd

For some reason after putting on a new high flow fuel pump the idle has gone a bit :? It will start and idle fine ,I can hear/feel the
bypass working but after a few minutes the engine will cut-out abruptly .It does it as the idle valve actuates to close ???I can feel it doing so .
Is there any airflow past the throttle bod when warmed-up and idling ?Or is it still controlled with the valve .
I have adjusted the throttle plate seat screw and it seems to help a bit but idles to high :?:

Everything is done by the valve at idle (with the throttle closed)

What pump have you used? Have you checked its getting full voltage. Sounds like an under supply problem.

Walbro GSL392 + a Porker 928 filter .

Check elswhere then, because two of my GTA have the same setup, and Petes and Simons, and never had the problem.. :?

Might it be the front supply setup ? Now the rears are new and uprated ................

Who knows, could be.

If you going to kill two birds with one stone, check the voltage to the pump is decent, then invest in an adjustable regulator with gauge (as Simon did) - (a) it will improve the performance and (b) you can check if the fuel pressure is stable...

Got a FSE rising do-dah sitting on the desk .I need to make up a gauge takeoff plate and find a suitable position for the reg .I want to plumb both rail returns into the reg .....................
