i have this problem with the turbo, though it was the box as i am pretty hard on it at times
with the rear jacked up i have nearly half a turn of free play (at the wheel), that i thought was diff bearings collapsing. i know that the shafts are sold complete, but is there a common side/joint that gives up.
the clunk happens when the car is stationary, press the clutch, put it into 1st and then
clunk I also fitted a new clutch thinking that it was clutch drag at first, but still the same noise.
......and yes, they are the faces that i make!!
