You'd think Renault would try to help owners of their classic vehicles keep them on the road instead of robbing us blind. Mind you, it could be worse, we could have a newer Renault car (Laguna II, Megane II) which are total tripe!

I love Renault but they don't make 'em like they used to!

Incidentally, when my clutch was changed by Renault the bill was as follows....

Clutch Assy £415.00
Flywheel £429.00
Total incl labour £1817.51

And that was 6 years ago!!!

As I have an A610 clutch in my GTA I can confirm they are not the same. A610 has stronger springs and can take substantially more torque before slippage occurs. I waited 6 months to get one from Renault a couple of years back and they were most unhelpful whenever I complained or tried to expedite delivery.
Alpines - GTA 3.0 Turbo, GTA 3.0 Inj (Project DD), GTA 6.2 V8 (500 bhp) , R32 Skyline GTR, BMW Alpina B10 635 Highline, Alpina B10 E39 5 Series, Jaguar 4.2 XKR, Laguna 205GT, BMW 120d.
