Coming Soon - Silkolene Pro S Race 5w-30

Postby oilman » Wed Jun 03, 2009 2:45 pm

Amongst performance car enthusiasts and motorsport competitors, Silkolene Pro S has proved our biggest seller. And so it should be... it's a fantastic quality oil at a competitive price!

To date, Pro S has been available in 2 viscosities - 5w-40 and 10w-50 - but with the increasing trend towards lower viscosities, 5w-30 is now a common manufacturers' recommendation, particularly for Fords and the latest generation Japanese cars.

Cue... Silkolene Pro S 5w-30!

Yes, we asked for it, Silkolene listened and it'll be in our warehouse some time this month. Pale amber in colour, it's not quite as funky as the purple Pro S 10w-50, but if your car requires a 5w-30 oil it's the best Pro S yet!

Competing? Pro S 5w-30 could also give some performance benefits over thicker viscosities for sprints, short races and qualifying laps. And what's more, it CAN also be used on the road!

Pre-register your interest at www.opieoils.co.uk/silkolene-pro-s-5w-30.aspx (no committment) - the first few pallets will be at a special promotional price, with priority given to anyone who has pre-registered.

We'll let you know again when we have stock on the floor.

Cheers

5W30 is to thin for me, so I trying for the first time some Pro R 15w-50 in a very nice red colour to match the car, instead of Mobil 1 15w-50 which has served the engine well for 8yrs.
