A decent double din Alpine stereo ain't cheap. Single din's are a bit more reasonable though. Yours still got the original stereo Martin?

No it's got an ALPINE single DIN as in ICE Manufacturer rather than our own favourite car maker. If I can get the stalk controls working through it then that would be good.
