not thinking straight tonight, some thing else buzzing on another site
.. umm yes your right, I had it in my mind for some strange reason that if you went back to the original spring you would loose the additional spring platform, but that's not the case... so no go, but you could get the strut body shortened, and a longer rod insert - Avo I think it was used to do this for people, as I had some done. Not sure now as they have gone rather mainstream. Otherwise as you say different struts required. Sorry chap.
... A diamond is only a piece of coal that did well under pressure... PRV afflicted, may be I need to squeeze harder!!!!

finally have got all the Geo and suspension sorted on the 310

To correct the rear camber issue, ordered 2 new top wishbones from simon auto, and Paul has fitted these. The old ones had adjustable 'slots' , which werent very adjustable- which meant the negative camber was lost

it now is running the correct 2 dgree of camber and it just looks right.

much better handling and not so much oversteer!

Alpine A310 suspension settings

Postby a310man » Wed Mar 16, 2011 8:34 pm

Let me know if you need any further A310 info - I have owned three A310's for fifteen years. I have a 1977, 1979 and a 1982 version. I also have most of the appropriate manuals (in French and German) and a decent amount of knowledge having rebuilt most aspects of the cars.

In a mad moment, I bought another....it doesn't need much work.....!!
