If not a genius then more than gifted.
But as others have said, how did he get his wife to agree ?
Any idea how long it took ?, he doesn't look that old.

you have to take your hat off to the guy to create that from scratch is just amazing. its a shame he did'nt put the detail in to the interior though it lets it down and a set of replica wheels are a must.
back in the 80's there were 3 or 4 countach kit manufacturers in the north and i went to see one in darwen. it was an amazing copy they had replicated everything down to the last detail. i realy wanted to do one, v12 jag engine, un1 box, leather trim, but when the estimate went over £20,000 i scraped the idea and bough a gta instead.

Completely agree on the interior and wheels, but that's his choice I guess. Not sure the front wheelarches look quite right, but the quality of his work is just amazing. Also some stuff on YouTube -

And to top it all he had to knock the wall down to get it out

just done a google search and i can't believe it this is the guy i went to see paul lawenson and he is selling the moulds for the kit.
the day i went over there i was early and the place was locked, so i looked through the letter box and all i could see was a vw camper van. i thought this was a wined up, just then he turned up , we went in and behind the vw was a door in to another workshop. under a sheet was the red lambo as in the pics.
that was back in 1985.

Clever wife, she understands that it is better for us to spend cash on our cars..... rather than other women (which is much more expensive too). :-)
