Hi Trevor

Yes I would be interested, when you bought them how did you spec the spring rates and valving or are they their standard GTZ kit for fast road use ?

Cheers

put some coil overs to do away with torsion bar set up use bilsteins in my opinion.you could change wishbones to tour de corse or maxi but not worth money as so expensive.

Thanks Maximan, you are right they are compomotive however, they are selling these exclusive through a company called Tomsky Racing.

I have checked out their website, the price is €1,550 for a set of 4, not too bad considering they are a race wheel.

Thanks for your help.

Hi

I am in no rush as I will likely run the car "as is" until late next year.

The car needs alot of work, so I will initially do some basics / essentials (suspension and sort the bit of rust before it gets worse), next Autumn i will take the car off the road for a full rebuild including, complete strip,, re-skin the roof (to get rid of the SR) full re-spray, re-trim the interior, fit roll cage and then look engine upgrade options and costs.

Please keep me updated on your developments.

Cheers

A very small world. You would have overlaped with me but I think you may have been in the same year as my younger brother Neil.

Hi Mark

Sorry I did not respond to your previous post regarding being based at Stortford, it will be good to meet up at a future event once I have got the car.

Cheers and hopefully meet soon.

Hi,

Had a couple of weeks in Egypt and then almost straight to Germany so sorry for the late reply. Yes i still have the unit but not sure about the spring rates but will try and find out. The chap I got them from used to specialise in the T2's (Accy Paul) and seem to remember these being valved to a particular spec from AVO and the rates likewise. I went to Oulton Park with him for a track day in his T2 and it was superb and these are the same spec as he had fitted.

My number is 07939 887791.

Regards Trevor.
