Swap it for a resolution to my misfire? :)

Thats if I don't sort the misfire myself (time is the problem)

yeh go on then

Just pull the inj plugs in turn and see if you can spot the pot first

Went to pull the plugs, the 4th one I got to was loose. Pushed it on properly and misfire is gone. Yippee. Just been for a short blast. All is now well I think. This leaves me time to sort the carpets and watch the GP this weekend.

8) good stuff , pop the pump in the post then

The engine looms/plugs are shite after all these years .A good idea is to replace all the injector plugs with new and re-wire if you feel up to it .They batch fire and all just meet in a big blob of solder halfway down the loom .One blob for + one for earth .
I looked into new looms but it all got a bit expensive and a few of the multi-plugs are unique .It would mean doing it on an exchange basis but lets face it they are not going to get any better with age so I may look into it again .

I meant if I had to bring the car to you to sort the misfire!

How soon do you need the pump (if at all?)

Loom looks ok for 24 years, but new would make sense at some point.

Just a quick look-see at current progress on this one .It's due to go in for proper rot inspection early next week and make a start on that before I bigger off for a week in sunny Rhyl
I have 3 others ahead in the queue but the time spent prepping all the rotten spares is starting to bear fruit .

DAG gta is ready for lump install once we sort a minor bit of rot

then 610 gets built up
then Daves Slumdog needs dragging round for install then this one is up for all new gear 8)
Stood for a long time so I'm expecting all sorts of seized stuff but the worst job has already got a headstart .
Just need the suspenders .Spax on this one please ...anyone ....
