Heater Fan

Postby jon_viola » Wed Jun 11, 2014 8:00 am

Hi

Just back from lovely trip to the Pyrenees in the Alp. Car behaved pretty well in general baring in mind both out and return were done in one 12 hour stint from/to London.

One interesting 'feature' was that in the 30deg heat on the way home the car ran cooler at 100 than at 85. Must be some aerodynamic reason I guess....

Anyway- although having A/C really did make a huge difference the air flow from the fan was pathetic in the heat of mid day. I guess mines pretty old by now. Can anyone tell me if there's a good replacement? I seem to remember VW but not sure...

Cheers

Take your sock out haha
I'm in the same boat an up rated fan would be good.
I will talk to reader air next week. My car is back in again to rectify the hoses they fitted that melted by touching manifolds.
