Our Survey Said...

Image

You need 4 x 100 with a 60.1 centre bore and 15 ET rears (8.5 -10" Wide) and 38 ET Fronts (thats the offset) 7-8" Wide. Have a good search through the forum.

Plus we are still waiting for pics of your new steed!!!

I've seen it many times before, but it still cracks me up.

Front ET of 38 is too low.

That's the official fitment for the front, depends how far you want them to sit out or sit in. I think it depends on rim width as well. The OE wheels are 15" x 6 or 6.5J I think so if you go for 7 - 8J they will stick out further....

There's a set for sale as follows:

Azev A's

4X100. Tick
16X9 and 16X 17.5. Wider dia than stock. Tick. But wide enough, or is it really 17's that are needed?
ET 20 front and ET 30 rear. Will that work?
195 front. Ok, I think
205 rear. Too narrow? Maybe the rim can take wider?

I know nothing about wheels& tyres!

Any help appreciated

You also may need to alter the centerbore one way or the other .

Front et is miles off! I recon with that et I reckon they will stick out about 15cm! The rear et is too high needs to be 10 or 15 iirc so the wheels will be too far in board.

I have Azev A's the fronts are 7.5 wide with et of 35 and only just fit, et of 20 and i reckon you would trip over them as you walk past. It would be an MOT fail as well as looking carp

Don't forget centre bore too! 60.1 for the GTA, I had to have my Azev's bored out.

Can anyone with bigger brakes at the front tell me the offset on the wheels they have? Even with spacers mine won't fit over Brembos...

If I can find something suitable then my wheels might be up for sale at some point. I need bigger brakes!

37 on a 7
42 on a 7.5

It's more about the wheel design and shape of spokes than the offset though. Some designs eg AZEV A will struggle to clear anyhting without spacers or extreme offset. The ones si21 has were I think specially machined to accommodate larger brakes (although he only has standard at the moment)

I need a 3mm spacer on mine to be safe.
