Car (Turbo) in for MOT at local garage (did not have time to take it to one of the usual suspects Paul/Lee) and the MOT had expired. (and I guessed there was not much it would fail on given it had spent a long time being rebuilt)
Failed on steering rack boot...handbrake...and CO @ 3.8% (so only ~10% over).
The garage owner confused the car with a vauxhall chevette..fortunately he is not on the spanners anymore...it was parked in the distance. I put it down to vision problems.
The car is still there - I recall Darren's cocktail sausage description of the CO pot..
is this it (red circle) and I will try to tell the garage. I don't know my way around a turbo yet...I don't have the car to look for the pot - but I had a photo of another GTA. I think this can fall off if not mounted correctly.

As an aside..this is a photo of Andrew's (turbodog's) car (the 2 wires to the middle plug on ignition module - being discussed on another thread). I took this last summer as a reference as I needed to replace the ignition lead trays.
So...tamper with the tamperproof screw - removing a "dustcap" - a little to the anticlockwise, right ? I will tell the garage it is a "dustcap"
Thanks if you can confirm this is the CO Pot - cheers ?
