I had a 6 month old 3r back in 2003 and it is the fastest car I have had super quick great chassis too

Yes and that two, dont forget to throw Mini Dini in the equation..... :lol:

Going to see my mate down at Mole Valley hopefully today...... might trade in the A610, I might get lucky and he will offer me the scrappage scheme!!

I have worked on two (on the electrics) they are not too bad but deffo get the 3.0L as it was better developed!! they really seems to be, you get a good un or a nail!!! I like them and they are great to drive!

I appreciate the similarity but it was just the lack of problems angle I was dissing :shock: . Cayman R very nice car. Might try and get a go in a 911 turbo. Friend of mine who works in a high end garage had one in last week and said it was staggeringly quick (and he drives a 355 Ferrari)

Porsche always seem to understate their specs. Road and Track did a recent test of a Boxster S and pulled 0-60: 4.1 seconds and 1/4 mile: 12.6 sec @ 110.3 MPH and Car & Driver did 2.7 seconds to 60, to 100 mph in 6.4 in a 2010 997 Turbo S

I am not a hair dresser though... :wink: If it had to be a porky it will need to be a 911 Turbo ( water cooled as they are cheap as chips ), 928 GTS or a 968 Club Sport.

But the noble will smoke it hard and it's cheaper, which was the reason my brother chopped his cayman R in as he was very dissaponted with it, the BMW 1M is far better and more practical.

.. I have to laugh, tonight's magical mystery tour in a club members GTA.. It was one going off to Macon, has proved to me yet again.. they p iss out oil and breakdown electrically.. beginning to wonder if I have an anti GTA proximity field :-) ... So I can easily understand why a change is a good thing!

GTA electrics with built in LBLLR : Lucas beating lack lustre reliability...
... A diamond is only a piece of coal that did well under pressure... PRV afflicted, may be I need to squeeze harder!!!!

Now you see where I am coming from, and yes I understand they are old cars, but when you have already spent a fortune on it, it does make you feel drained. Then again I never had any problems with my first Alpine, GTA Turbo, it was an extremely well maintained car and driven often, maybe the answer is doing buy a project just buy a car that has been well looked after from day one and spend the extra ££££, because in the end you will spend that £££ and more...
