Wan't some Cobra Monaco S's? FIA approved fixed bucket, extra padded...black, 5 point harnessing, 8kgs each, base mounting - I have 50, yes 50 in stock at the mo..

I was going to ..........but may be getting something a lot lighter when funds allow   Charge cooler also but
There's always room for negotiation though ...............

How light are you thinking. I do the full /Kevlar one peice buckets, which get down to just under 6kgs, but then you need sidemounts to mount them which are over 4kgs per seat! Nuts :?

Don't really want them to move for competition.

Lee.....you need to do some research into seats the Monacos arent heavy! They are about average. You could have a bare fibreglss seat and it'll still weigh over 3kgs and you wont beable to sit in it for more than 5 mins! The kevlar seats are generally over £250 each and weigh 4kgs, and you'll need to buy expensive mounts.
It would be cheaper and more beneficial to get the CC kit!

It will add weight, but it will also add about 15-20bhp.....do some calculations! The standard seats arent heavy themselves.....even with carbon Kevlar the total loss will only be 12kgs (standard seats are 10 each). Money well spent in a quest for speed...I think not!
Buy the Monacos to look good and save a couple of kgs and the CC to go faster.

I don't see it making that much of a difference on a short blart if it CC'd or not .The added weight v the reduced temps for 80/90 seconds :?: Add that to the fact I've never driven in anger then I think I'll take Ruperts advice and spend the CC money on some lessons  Ohh and my main rad needs a recore
