Hurrah! Glad you found the problem.

Yes try not to use it on salty roads..I always hibernate my Red 610 (October to March) after my Blue one had been used all year round.

The rubbers don't melt, they rip when you screw the fitting in. It's not quite right but all Bigg can supply.Takes a bit more to do but fit the pin first then lube and slide the caliper onto it instead.
