Oooooooops

Postby darrenbiggs » Thu Oct 27, 2005 2:37 pm

I saw an Enzo parked outside a restaurant recently when I was in Zurich but it was in perfect condition, as opposed to this:

I'd 've loved to have been a fly on the wall when they came home to tell their dads! I'm sure they got a proper kickin'!

How much fun would it be to crash a £600,000 Ferrari? 8)

I am going to sound like my dad now. Those kids are spoiled to the point of no recovery and are probably horrible human beings who appreciate nothing. If you have to work hard to get things (like my Alpine :? ) then you appreciate them and might learn a. to look after them and b. how to drive them. I'm off to buy a Trilby hat now. 8)

I think its spam. There's no record of it on CNN, and the Enzo has a marked up windscreen as if its a stock number in a breakers yard.

Yes, defintitely spam.....how could there be 5 people involved? Neither car has room for a third person! Also if you look at the Ferrari, from my experience of accidents, it looks as though it has pretty much run into something square on, whereas the Lambo has been hit in the front corner at an angle....the two havent hit each other. The Ferrari would not have such square and even damage if it had done that to the Lambo.
I bet if you take the names of the people listed they are anagrams for something!

David,
Is that DeLorean? Looks like roughly the right shape, engine location and gull wing doors- even if only the skins have survived. They are PRV aren't they (if very low output PRV's)
Where did you get the shot?

I thought it was spam when I read the story, hence why I didn't mention it originally.

It still doesn't detract from the damage to the Enzo though

Having been lucky enough to have seen one up close and actually on the road  (bet most will live in air conditioned garages and do about 500 miles a year) I can confirm that they look a lot better when they're still intact!

Not the prettiest Ferrari though and for some reason I think I'd still opt for an F40. Cue David's rush to find pictures of totalled F40s!

Hmm, F40. It goes well and loads of feel but I could not get on with the unassisted brakes that need written notice if you want to use them. I still remember that look of terror in his rear view mirror of the Honda Civic driver who pulled out in front of me and I managed to get some stopping power around 3 inches from his back bumper. Probably be best on track of course with constantly warmed up brakes. They are also not that well put together but then who are we to criticise?
