The whole retro thing has missed me...Beetle, Mini, GT et al. Its a nice looking car but its like they cant think of anything truly stunning thats also original. If you have one of these and someone pulls up next to you in the real thing you'll feel like youre driving a cheap fraud!

If I could afford one of the new ones I'd have an old one tucked away in the 10 lane heated garage in any case so wouldn't give a s***

Possibly, but apparently a third of all supercars are bought on finance now. There was an article in Autocar a year back. You could put £30,000 down on a Murcielago, pay £750 a month and have the car for 3 years....they buy it back after that, swap it or, you pay another £30,000 and its yours!! I was all set to go down to my nearest dealer when I remembered it was only an Audi at the end of the day.....so I bought my Avensis instead
Would love that trike...excellent toy for the summer.

How dare you compare it to a new mini and those horrific looking beetles, that's like comparing your GTA to a reliant Kitten (only cause it has 4 wheels) and we wouldn't like that would we :?:

Of course it is do-able, I see Lambos every week in town, so someone is doing it. They probably sell the white stuff rather than go looking for it.

  Actually at the time (which was about 18months ago really) I had more than that left from the sale of my last house and my best friend suggested I did it because he fancied a run out in a Lambo or Ferrari (his words were 'by association it will also be mine'!!) The rest of the deal wasnt as palatable....move in with my parents  Thankfully we both sobered up the next day :D

I agree, its as if NO ONE can think of anything new these days. I'm sick of hearing cover/ripped off versions of songs, just think Madonna will be sampling an Abba song next

Get down to Grinnal, they've been doing this "new thing" for 15 years now :D

I always love it when PR guys who know nothing about cars get to write up the releases and spout so much BS about innovation and "new" etc etc.
