New Engine in Oz

Postby Stunned Monkey » Tue Feb 20, 2007 12:46 am

Sold this guy the internals and intake manifold from a GTA engine so he could rebuild his DeLorean engine. Seems to be doing quite nicely. He's rebuilt the original turbo with an uprated compressor, and has a PWR barrel cooler in the pontoon.

I forget which ECU he's going with but it's one of the expensive ones, and he's running full sequential and coil packs.

He wrote today

"
A few progress pics taken before the engine was stripped down and things sent to be coated.

Block has been bead blasted and pistons have been ceramic coated, Inlet valves springs have been upgraded, ports have been matched and heads ported inc. old injector ports plugged [k-jet injectors fire into the head - Martin]. Fly wheel has been balanced and lightened.
