Door pins

Postby spryboy1974 » Fri Jul 20, 2007 6:59 pm

I thought it was about time i renewed the door pins on both doors.(Have been putting it off for a while)

I have managed to get 3 of the 4 out so far and the other one is on its way.

Does anyone know if you can buy oversized pins or will i need to change the hinges also??

Have you tried your local friendly Renault dealer ?
If not, then when you do can you let me know as I have a driver's door in desparate need of a 'door pin' change !!

I tried the local Renault dealer this morning and this was the only thing they could help me out with.
Only comes as a complete new hinge assembly but at £13.84 + vat i thought that was good!
Not so sure i will change the whole hinge though as the top one feels awkward to get to!!!
Will let you know the part number when they arrive tues/weds. :D
