Want to pay a bit less for Fuel?

Postby simontaylor » Wed Sep 26, 2007 5:07 pm

http://www.citibank.co.uk/personal/cards/dm/shell_hear.htm?type=cards&offer=A154&merchant=shell

This is a Shell credit card, apply by 13 November to qualify.

For 60 days you get 6% off shell fuel and 2% off other purchases,
after the 60 days, you get 3% off shell fuel and 1% off purchases
..... providing you keep buying shell fuel each month in Britain.

I briefly calculate,
based on £200 per month on fuel, a saving of £84 in a year.
plus monthly spend of £200 on other purchases, gives an additional saving of £28.
Not a lot, but £112 better than nothing.

Just be sure to pay it off every month and it's bound to work.

Shell also have a "drivers club" loyalty card, for every 1500 litres of fuel purchased, you can get a £10 off voucher, at £200 a month on fuel you should just about earn £20 in shell vouchers per year.

PS, I am not connected with Shell is any way, just passing this on as a fuel cost-saving tip.
