Buyer beware!

Postby silverdreammachine » Thu Nov 08, 2007 4:58 pm

Hi All,
Just bought a secondhand door seal from Douglas Valley Breakers who are breaking the red fire damaged GTA turbo seen on ebay (front indicator for sale). Despite being assured it was in good condition, it arrived perished and torn. When I phoned them to let them know, I was told by the guy who packed it that he had raised this with the sales dept but was told to send it anyway. They have since proved very unhelpful and unpolite about refunding my money. I suppose it is down to buyer beware, should always see the secondhand item before you buy it or at least buy it from someone you know and trust! Just be cautious if you are thinking about parts off this vehicle! :x

Thats the one!
Interestingly enough, some digging about has shown he has pi$$ed off a lot of people including Lotus club and Porsche club owners with high prices, poor quality stuff and sh*t service. Sorry to anyone else reading this but he has got my blood boiling! Shame I didn't know this before dealing with him.
