Re-using headgasket not run

I don't have another , don't want to mix makes either or do both heads .Can I just go from the 2nd stage tightening ?

Not a good idea Lee, the gasket has been compressed. I would prefer to mix if necessary, rather than reuse. I have reused exhaust manifold gaskets, and not had any probs, but I could never recommend reusing a head gaskets. Sorry :( :(

Hmmmm yes I know ,but ,but ....................Anyone got a Glaser gasket for 123 ??? Or both sides for a turbo .I have an Atmo pair but they are a fair bit thinner .
Wanted to get it done this weekend .

Keep the one you are removing, you never know, you might be able to sell it to an atmo owner, :lol: :lol: :lol:

I have never tried re-using one - for the sheer amount of work in changing it back out again if it doesn't work, it's better just to replace...
