Can't post this in the wanted section as i don't have privileges.

Wanted- A610 Throttle potentionmeter. Or does anyone know where i can source one. Renault Manchester insist that my car is carborated and so can't find the part from my chassis number.

Right. Has anyone heard anything from Mr Gentleman recently? Don't wanna bad mouth the guy, but it seems he was quick to reply when he wanted my money but seems to be ignoring me now he's sent me the wrong part. All I want to do is get the right part or get my 25quid back.

Sounds pretty typical of him.

Chris Hawes' A610 engine, currently in Steve Dell's posession does not *need* the original type pot as it'll be going with aftermarket management - so it can have a Laguna/Safrane one - if you're happy to supply a replacement, you could have that one. You'll need to contact Chris directly (he's chris_von_bron on here) to check it's okay, and get Steve to send it out to you.

Alternatively, I've got my Renault lot checking on availability - they're a lot better than the usual Renault dealers for looking up obscure stuff! (don't get your hopes up though, I'm pretty sure I tried to get one before and ended up with a Safrane one)

It is available from France, £139 - gimme a shout if you'd like me to order it in for you.

I can't understand this, he has loads of positive feedback on ebay and yet seems to mess us guys around on here?
