Good wax/polish for the GTA?

Postby Tom » Thu Mar 12, 2009 3:38 am

Probably a stupid question but.....being plastic, is there any particular car care products that are better suited to keep the GTA looking it's best?

No problems with applying a 'normal' wax-type polish?

I've used all sorts over the years on all sorts of cars. Recently discovered the Meguiars range of product. It's not cheap and it takes time but you will not get a better cleaner. I have used the detailing clay (look for Smooth Surface Detailing Kit with Quik Detailer to use as a lubricant) and finish with NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0. Sould be easily available worldwide.

I'd recommend getting used to using the clay on a lesser vehicle but can pretty much guarantee your car will never have looked or felt better! In the past, I have used Autoglym, Mer etc but nothing gets close to Meguiars for a show car shine!
