Thats flea bay for you, people only go on there to find a bargain and if it wasnt for below retail prices like that then ebay would struggle IMO. We used to sell oil on there, weve stopped now as you end up devaluing the product by trying to be competitive against other ebayers. We wont even price match/beat against anything on ebay these days.

We will beat any price of K&N offered by an online shop (excluding the bay).

Cheers

And a lot of ebay stock has come from a dubious background (stolen).
Thats why so much stuff can be sold so cheap.

The amount of stuff I've bought off Ebay that's fake is unbelievable.Oakley sunglasses, an iPod, even things as trivial as a mousemat (they even manged to spell Microsoft incorrectly on it) and oil is no different. Castrol is a prime example. Apparantly there is stolen Castrol stock for sale on there, but there is also foreign stock that doesn't meet the same specs and it's not too tricky to pour crappy 15w-40 in a Castrol Edge can and sell it for £40 rather than the £5 it's really worth. If you get anything off there for your car, make sure it's a reputable supplier or it can cost a whole lot more than you save.

Cheers
