A few questions first Jorgen,
The above quote....I suspect this is a translation problem....I don`t know what you are asking?
When you say the speedometer is completely dead...do you mean just the speedo, or the whole instrument unit?
If it is just the speedo...does the fuel gauge computer still appear to work?
If so...there the speed sensor connector which gives a fair amount of trouble on the inside of the right hand rear wheel arch looking from the rear of the car. R17 in the following picture, this should be disconnected and cleaned with contact cleaner before reconnected. This is the first thing to do
By the way, is your Alpine LHD or RHD?
