Plenty of rumours and bad feeling going on at the Nurburgring.
Seems the Lindner family have taken over running the place and are upsetting the locals and hardcore ringers.
Having spent millions on the re-development there, they are now trying to entice Ring users into their attractions by including a Ringwerks (the "theme park" several of us visited in 2009) ticket as well as tying food in with the ring lap tickets. and, no, the rollercoaster is still not "werking"
Of course this doesnt come for free, 2011 prices are now as follows:
2011:
* 1 lap: € 24,00
* 4 laps: € 89,00, incl. € 10,00 food/drinks voucher for the Eifeldorf Grüne Hölle*, 1 ring°werk ticket
* 15 laps: € 310,00, incl. € 20,00 food/drinks voucher for the Eifeldorf Grüne Hölle*, 1 ring°werk ticket
* 25 laps: € 470,00, incl. € 30,00 food/drinks voucher for the Eifeldorf Grüne Hölle*, 1 ring°werk ticket
* Season ticket: € 1.350,00, incl. € 100,00 food/drinks voucher for the Eifeldorf Grüne Hölle*, 2 ring°werk ticket
As far as I can tell, the food/drinks voucher is only for the Eifeldorf hotel behind the start/finish line of the Grand Prix track rather than the food outlets available at the car park for the tourist laps so will be of limited use.
