I know that I didn't attend the last meet, but I have a suggestion for a meeting place.
Its a pub called the GREEN MAN in Howe street, Essex. Large carpark, good food, excellent land lady. Its also easy to find, just off the A120 and on a summers evening there are some good back roads nearby which would make the journey for some interesting instead of battling through traffic in central London.
By the way Howe Street is just North of Chelmsford.
