A610 running when hot problems. THANK YOU ALL

Postby Andythecroc » Mon May 13, 2013 4:41 pm

I have not been here for a while.

I have not had my A610 running for even longer.

But at last after 18 months with my patient mechanic and a further 18 months at City Motors main dealer I am pleased to say she appears to be fixed.

I have had almost every electrical and fuel related component checked, changed or cleaned.

After months of badgering from me the main dealer service manager Russell Holbrock at City Motors took my advice and cut the taped part of the loom open revealing the wires to the temp sender.

These wires had corroded and seen better days so they traced them back and cut out the bad bits.

I have had lots of advice from a lot of guys from here.

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HELPED ME

she seems to work ok with low or high fuel levels and pulls as she used to.
i had my 1st A610 back in 1994 a yellow 1 J457JTP now i own a blue 1 M610 BLX since 1997.
