Have had some spectacular drives in Wales with and without other Alpines. The Tour of Wales which Andrew very ably organised had us visiting many great places. One of my favourites, a road from Betws-y-Coed to Bedgellert is pictured below. It had everything. I went for a quick spin one early February morning (you can tell by the snow that it was cold and crisp but beautifully sunny), heading out from Chester to Wrexham and then on to Llangollen. I then decided to just keep going without any plan, no real idea where I was heading and ended the trip some 310 miles later on what was probably the most enjoyable drive I have ever had. Just man and machine as one. It's what these cars are about.
