Just wondering if anyone knew of an intercooler upgrade that didn't require too much body bashing?

A610 cooler works better,sits more horizontal.

Does it swap over? Are they available?
Whats the size of the OEM Core excluding the end tanks? Is there any space for more?
As ever working in tandem with CC is the plan although my CC rad needs resiteing
