boost pressure!

hi people
out of interest what boost could you run could you theoretically run on a 2.5 v6 turbo engine which has been fully mapped(fuel...etc) ?.

That all depends on what turbo, intercooling, fueling, volumetric efficiency of the engine. Preferably as low as possible!

On a standardish engine, 20 psi would probably make the same power as 12 psi on a cammed engine, with decent turbo, exhaust, intercooling...etc..

Its all about how much power you can make with as least boost as possible, not the other way round :wink: :lol:
