Good write up. I'd add a couple of minor points.
I've got a Pure with the 17" wheels - even with tyres, I believe these are lighter than the 18" fuchs option.

The "small" brakes are still excellent - I've not managed to get the car on track yet, but I struggle to think they'd be inadequate on road. I might revise that after a trip to the Alps I'm planning for September, particularly as we'll be 2up with luggage, but let's see.

Exhaust - I think cars with the WLTP particulate filter are more muted - although I have the sports exhaust, I'm disappointed by mine. It pops a bit on the overrun, but certainly not embarrasing.

Luggage - may also be worth noting that the rear boot gets quite warm, so anything perishable wants to go in the frunk.

Thanks both. I'll produce a revised version when I've had a few more comments. Particularly interested in the standard brakes. It doesn't surprise me that they are absolutely fine on such a light car. Alpine do say that the car is even more playful on the smaller wheels and I'd expect the ride to be a bit better too. There's a lot of big-wheel-itis around!

Would not disagree with what is written.
Used prices are dropping slightly but not by a large margin from what I can see. Could not push to a brand new car so spent a few months trawling the second hand market & carrying out research.

My PURE is 3 years old/18,000 miles in what I would call very good condition with all the usual recalls carried out. Purchased from a local Ferrari dealer when they slashed the price by a few grand. Obviously wanted to move it on as it was rubbing shoulders with cars worth between eight & ten times it's value. I experienced full Ferrari service including rectification of body corrosion, new wheel bolts (originals badly corroded), 3rd year service, 4 new tyres, MoT & a comprehensive warranty.

Spec of my PURE is: Alpine Blue (of course!), 17" wheels, standard brakes, front & rear manoeuvring sensors, blue stitching in cabin. No other extras.
The standard brakes seem up to the task as does the sublime way the car moves & handles.

As for boot & frunk space I own a Caterham 7 which is occasionally used for touring. So packing Origami is no problem.
