We shouldn't really fight it. We know what Alpine's SHOULD be worth and it's actually nice to see them up at those prices. The rarity of the brand and the low numbers of the cars made (and even lower numbers actually on the road) should mean the prices will only go one way. There were less A610's made than Ferrari F40's (1400) or Lambo Countach's (over 1000). That's exclusivity for you! 8)

I would prefer it if they stayed under the radar and remained cheap .I might want to buy another one day .

it's got low miles and looks like it's been well looked after, wonder if it's the garage's own car?

I hate to admit it now but I scrapped one as good as this one many years ago just to get the engine for my GTA which had blown up. Not before I drove the 25 around for a few weeks to check the mechanicals were good. The 25s though were pretty nasty cars and I doubt they will have improved with age. I guess it's worth the price though just for a bit of nostalgic motoring.

I also had a Talbot Tagora 2.6 at the time which was a much better place for the PRV engine. Now there is a car I would pay £3K for today if I could find one in good condition.
