this is a restoration project, i will fix everything, full respray, possible re-trim carpets, full mot and offer for sale. so maybe std wheels option would be good. let me know if you if you find any. ill be in touch with a parts list soon, first things seem to be headlamp covers x2, os door check strap, may need some central locking parts.

Jolly good, before you start just check (if you haven't already) that the chassis is in good nick. When you picked it up from the wirral, was it a part next to the sea?

I have one headlamp cover attached to a nosecone at the moment, again Mr Dini has first dibs. What do you mean by o/s door check strap?

well its a runner....finaly managed to get enough volts into the starter motor to spiin the frozen stiff lump back into life. seems ok, no visable leaks, exhaust is blowong a bit somewhere, and the tappets sound like they could do with setting but on the whole not bad to say its been dead for six years.
just encountered one prob i turned it off and now it wont start. going to let it cool down and try it later.

Andy,

Take no notice. Strip and rebuild the carbs and enjoy. No black magic needed.
