OK the website needs a decent shop

Steve, you're a shining beacon of sanity in the world of car clubs where infighting and divisions are rife. (There're now two Uk DeLorean clubs, go figure. )

But the site does need an overhaul... and Rottbott's offered to help, and he'd do a bloody good job too. Just let people in mate, it's "our" club after all, thanks to you

I agree, we also need a venturi section on the forum too!!!!!

I thought there was UK Venturi club/website already?

Love the suction cup and string idea. Was that just to help locate the headlight covers, or was it also used to hold them in place while the adhesive set?

Out of curiosity!! Would they fit a Le Mans? The head light covers I mean, not the nipple tassels!!

May be of interest to me in the future. :D

No ,will not fit at the indicator although it may be possible to modify the covers .I can't say without seeing a Le Mans cover .

they do look pretty good lee. nice trick with the suckers saves having to take the headlamps out and wedge them in place. was that 3m waterbase masking tape you used, if so be carefull the adhesive on that stuff is so strong it sometimes pulls the paint off with it

Perversely I had to take the lamps out anyway to replace some milky lamps but the suckers work a treat and help even if just using to position the covers .3M yep though seems low tack but was only on for a day or two .A bit of paint did come off but that was getting the old ones out .It just came away with the old covers , a few little flakes is all .
I'll put you down for two sets innit

As far as I know the only difference between a LeMans head light and the Standard GTA item is that there is a groove on the cover at the indicator end on the GTA where the indicators sits, but the LeMans doesn't have the indicator = Groove surplus to requirements so should fit regardless the end just carries on past where the indicator would have been unseen
