Not a chance! it would fail the emissions test with style :? not until it's 10 years old..... that's how you get around the SVA test, it would then be in the same boat as a race spider, you don't need to sva a car which is older than 10 years.... so it doesn't need to meet current emmisions regs as as the megane is a 2005 built car it would need to pass all current regs.......but  ........ stick a stock 350Z lump in it and an exhaust with cats in it for the test and you might just get it through :?:

wonder if the bank will lend me £75k

anyone fancy a consortium :?: it would be the only one on the planet available for private use as all the others are being raced for sure and they are only allowed to test on private test days organised by Renault inconjuction with the race series  Hot Laps round Spa........

The emissions arent the only worry! They do crash safety testing on dashboards, checking the visibility of lights from all angles and the SVA will always apply to this car as it has never been a road car in any form. It will fit into the kit car category and will forever need to pass SVA I'm afraid.
Love the look of them but there are faster race cars for that kind of money.....you can pick up an old F3000 for less.

True and there are less than 200 examples built and i don't think they will build many more as they cost €120,000 new.

But...... you can't carry passengers in an f3000
