GTA Atmo Roller

Postby rupert » Wed Jan 12, 2005 10:19 am

I am selling a stripped GTA atmo finished in black... It has engine and gearbox (85000miles), (new clutch), all panels (no damage), no interior at all, no loom to speak of, no rear glass engine cover (but I will supply a sheet of polycarbonate cut to shape), includes rear lights and grille, exhaust (standard), rad (not fitted), no headlights, no indicators, standard wheels, most door glass is missing. Front screen is fine, wiper motors are there but no arms. No interior fan motor.
The brake lines are partially removed as it had ABS and the main elements of this are missing.
This car is an ideal sprint/race/rallycross car project, tho it has a V5 and is a 1989 G reg model. I don't think it would be viable to restore it to a road car.
I'm looking for £1250, and for an extra £150 I'll supply a good late laguna 12V engine so that you can make it go pretty quick too with cams and an ECU and exhaust.
I'm offering it exclusively to you guys here prior to submitting it to the rigours of EBAY...

It would make an excellent modified production hillclimber....polycarb all the windows and where the lights go, stick the Laguna 12v in it with some monster carbs, junk every last bit of interior and dashboard, fit a single bucket seat and add a set of slicks! It would only weigh about 850 kilos.......I'm starting to tempt myself......sadly I havent the room, the money nor the willpower to go through with it!

Exactly my thoughts.... one day I could get around to it, but in the meantime no where to keep it and no money for it.
With the R21 hubs and brakes, renault spider cup wheels etc... oh for a lottery win - just a small one.

I forgot to add that I have a V5 and it is G reg. so could be a road legal track day/sprint car.

Just to say that this car is still available, well worth a look.
