I (Paul) managed to get one off fleabay for £60 :)

You need the A14N125 model if you have AC. You could try http://www.woodauto.com/Unit.aspx?Man=VALEO&Ref=A14N125 or just go to any good motor factor and ask for an equivalent.

Don't you have a local auto electric place that will rebuild it?

You still have to pay them ....TBH the old boys that would do that aren't around anymore .Exchange is all they will do .
Unless you can buy the bits and DIY there's not much difference in price .

I bought a guenuine one from Renault was not too bad for the Atmo, I am assuming Atmo/turbo alternsator is the same, TBH I cant recall, £160 exchange rings a bell, but prices change like we all have hot dinners.

Woods Auto (see link in previous post) holds quite a few regulators and diode packs... so for £35 you could do a DIY job. I was trying to do this with mine, but the damn alternator was rusted to bits and I ended up wreaking too much vengeance on it trying to get it apart

And you're quite correct, that is a 90amp, should be the A14N124 http://www.woodauto.com/Unit.aspx?Man=VALEO&Ref=A14N124 spare parts listed there too.
