For the right price I would consider selling my blue/silver road car with the trophy style engine conversion. I don't really want to sell it, but I have bought something else, I have 16 cars other cars at the moment, I don't think I've used it for a year and I still have the road legal Spider race car as well which I use more often.
Car has never been damaged or painted afaik certainly not in my ownership, but has usual stone chips to front clam. I have touched these in. There is a very small area on the LH sill where the previous owner removed a sticker and it lifted some laquer but this has never bothered me. 23K ish miles.
Engine conversion was done by the first owner no expense spared. In summary, the mods; the car has a genuine Spider trophy boot lid (I still have the original if required), genuine Spider cup manifold and orbisoud exhaust, fast road/rally cams, uprated fuel pressure regulator, remapped ECU, spider trophy induction, shift light. These are all genuine Renaultsport parts as used on the competition cars except the ECU which is a OEM one modified by technomap in France and the shift light which was added later. This all gives the car a much needed boost in power/performance.
The car recorded a true 150mph on the Racelogic Vbox before the shift light which is at approx 7200rpm. 0-60 was 5.7s. This is much faster than a regular Spider. Bhp is measured at between at 182 - 190 dependent on rolling road.
Comes with, Renaultsport cover, Tool suitcase complete, tonneau cover, rare
There are more options/parts available including alternative style wheels, brand new blue seatbelts and a new set of tyres.
Also has P3 RSS plate from new. Given by Renault to a few cars for press purposes. Very well known car and features in a Roddy Atkinson fine art print.
Only negative point is clutch is getting a little heavy but I already have a
new cable and kit which can be fitted or supplied if required.
New MOT until June 2013. Only 380 miles use since the last one
