I know the car ,supplied a LOT of parts for it incl bottom end .It gave Jim the builder/seller a right old fight but he's done everything to it and it's turned out quite well

To be fair that's not a bad play by the current owner. They seem to fetch more money at "Pukka" classic car auctions.

Traders probably see Mk 2 Ford Escorts going through for 20k and then see an Alpine GTA and think that's too cheap I have a bid...
