Saturday 10th September
CONCOURS
• All registered collectors vehicles are automatically entered into the concours competition.
• Vehicles are categorised according to the first year of manufacture for the model.
• Prizes have been donated by Renault Histoire & Collection and Meguiar's UK.
• Judging will take place by a panel of club representatives on Saturday afternoon.
• The 'People's Choice' will be decided by open ballot.
• Presentation of trophies and the award of 'Best In Show' will take place at the Gala Evening (soirée de gala) on Saturday.
The concours prize categories are (catégories du concours):
1. Best Pre 1940 (Monaquatre, MT, AX)
2. Best 1940s - 1960s (4CV, Dauphine)
3. Best 1960s - 1970s (A110, R8, R10, R12)
4. Best 1970s - 1980s (A310, R16, R5G, R5 Turbo)
5. Best 1980s - 1990s (GTA, Fuego, R5 GT Turbo, R21 Turbo)
6. Best 1990s - 2000s (A610, Spider, Megane Coupe)
7. Best 2000 - (Clio 172/182, Clio V6)
8. Best Renault Powered Vehicle (DeLorean, Marcadier)
9. Best Competition Car (All competition prepared vehicles)
10. People's Choice (All vehicles)
11. Best In Show (All winners of categories 1-10)
GALA EVENING (soirée de gala)
All registered collectors are invited to attend the optional Gala Evening on Saturday night.
• Reception with drinks, champagne & canapés for maximum 250 people in the Senna Fangio Conference Centre at the Donington Grand Prix Collection.
• Commences approximately 19h45 with drinks on arrival at the Grand Prix Museum.
• Guests will stroll through the halls with a couple of re-fuelling stops en route, then everyone will gather for the reception in the Senna Fangio suite. Plasma screens all round will show highlights from the day along with a short Ragnotti film.
• Celebrity drivers René Arnoux, Jean Ragnotti, Michel Leclère and Gérard Larrousse will all be attending and are happy to give autographs.
• Formal presentation of the concours prizes followed by the award of Best in Show. Other announcements and speeches will then be made (e.g. by Celebrity drivers).
• We envisage this will run until approx 22h00.
• Smart dress. No jeans or shorts please.
• No children (under 16).
• Tickets sold on a first come first served basis. (Maximum 4 per registered vehicle).
• All registered foreign collectors guaranteed tickets.
• Advance reservation possible.
• Payment of £10 (14 euro) per person on collection of tickets at the H&C marquee.
