In the absence of anyone posting on here (apart from Lee M, in a different thread) I have booked to go with old Porsche friends in Cheshire/Staffs region of TIPEC, although I fully intend to take the R5. I am sure that they won't mind anyone joining the road trip, Martin, although you will need to buy your own tickets now. Most of those guys are staying in a hotel (Softies even if they are Northerners!) but I am booked in the camping on the infield - AA Epinettes - so if anyone wants to book the same, we could probably park together. Our rough plan is to drive down on Wednesday 6th, stay in a hotel near Folkestone or Dover & get an early ferry or shuttle on the Thursday, aiming to arrive at the circuit early evening.

It would be nice to meet up with other club members, either on the road or at the circuit.

I am also hoping to add a couple of days to the trip to visit the museum at Loheac, about 2 hours west of Le Mans, which I believe is essential for French car fans
