Postby stephendell » Mon May 02, 2005 7:46 pm

For those of you that are interested this is the information I have been able to gather:

Apologies for dodgy Google assisted translation

Dear Alpinist
You undoubtedly already noted the appointment that we had proposed to you to celebrate together the 50ème anniversary of the birth of Alpine, the 5 - May 6, & 7 2005 in Dieppe. We are happy to diffuse the bulletin of participation in this event, which will testify 50 years of collective passion dedicated to Alpine and its creator Jean Rédélé. The general program of the demonstration is indicated to you here but you will receive of course a more detailed timing with the acknowledgement of delivery of your engagement. In addition, you will be able to be held informed on the organization by consulting this site where we will endeavour to answer your recurring questions. Here right now some useful precise details: - the participation is exclusively reserved in the vehicles Alpine or Renault Sportifs having been manufactured in the factory of Dieppe - lodging is with your initiative. You will find a list of hotels with Dieppe and in its immediate surroundings on the site of the tourist bureau of Dieppe: www.dieppetourisme.com - to take account of the problems appeared at the time of our "International Meeting 2003", all the meals of midday will be taken on the same spot of the demonstration - the dinner of official reception will be held like the preceding times at Saint-Nicolas-in Aliermont and we ask you to envisage a correct behaviour for this evening - a handing-over of rewards will take place at the time of the evening of official reception to honour the victorious crews in the various categories - the vehicles will be able to remain the night on the closed park where a monitoring will be assured - a protected site is planned for the parking of the trailers - parts and accessories will be on sale at Alpine. You will be able to anticipate your order and to take delivery with the after-sales service directly - the one or the ones that also wishes to be registered saturdays with the Rally of the Country of Dieppe (in formula VHC) will have to contact individually Mr. Claude Siméon President of the ASA Pays of Dieppe 750 street Loucheur 76550 OFFRANVILLE Tel.. 02 35 85 43 28 For constraints of organization, the number of competitors which can take part in the standard Concentration "Monte Carlo" will be strictly limited to 450 vehicles (3 groups of 150) and we will treat the requests for engagement in the order of their reception! Then do not be long too much in expressing you... We are persuaded that you will have in heart to pay a vibrating homage to Jean Rédélé and that this anniversary Alpine symbolic system ": 50 years of passion "a place of choice in your album-memory of faithful Alpinists will occupy. Well cordially. Andre Desaubry President of the AAA

An enormous surprise awaits the enthusiasts of the mark dieppoise the 5 - May 6, & 7 2005: they will be able to discover "the cradle of Alpine" with the n° 40 of the Pasteur avenue in Dieppe. The buildings of time are being prepared and their visit will be possible at the time of the demonstration. You will discover the assembly and workshops there, the cave of the service competition with its driving bench under operation. Time seems to have stopped in these buildings authentic and so in charge of history... Prepare your cameras... and your handkerchiefs
