nice ride height adjustable dampers.... where are you? that was sold by a local company to me.
never thought I would want a list but now find myself needing one just to remind me: Clio V6 230, 5 gt turbo, 5 Gordini turbo, Megane RS 300 Trophy.

Thanks - I am in York. I believe the car was in Essex but hadn't sold for some time so I made a cheeky offer. Must have been at the right time as it was accepted and delivered the same day.

The condition is really very very good - it was actually better than I expected. Once on the road the engine is strong and powerful and sounds great. It has a replacement ECU and throttle bodies (along with some uprated internals) so more power then standard but no idea how much.

The ECU is Lumenition - I have downloaded the ECU software but need to find someone local as it could probably do with an update of the map just to check everything out.

I may see if there is a more modern plug and play or easy replacement as ECU's have clearly moved on since this was done and once you have a fully programmable ECU then adding further upgrades gets easier and I do like turbos!!

The body work and general mechanical condition is immaculate and the engine has been rebuilt by Andy Hill with a few interesting internal upgrades. Also the suspension is fully adjustable. Been SORN for many of its years. However the original ECU has been removed and remapped on a old Lumention with matching ITB's.

I bought it cheap so decided to bite the bullet and send it on a little French holiday to get the electronics modernised and fully remapped, brakes and few other little jobs. Should keep Andy busy for a few days.

Will report back when it is returned.

OE Spider Trophy made by Goodridge on the front / or standard replacement Goodridge with modified connection, I will discuss with David when I collect the car and standard Goodridge replacement on rear.

if you want to improve the original brakes and prevent another statistic spider front end accident , first thing to do is change the brake lines and put good fluid in it....

I have a local customer over here in France..... he realised after two front end shunts he should do something with the brakes, the 2nd time his own spider hitting his F430 up the ass made him wake up and smell the brake fluid.

It's certainly true that the front brakes are a bit dead - lets say!
Has anyone ever tried fitting a remote servo that you know of Andy?
