It's the wind up the trouser legs as well, that makes winter Spidering such an energising experience.

I am Driver No.41, according to my confirmation email, so there must be lots of places left for additional Spiders to join....

FREE TUITION

Postby si21 » Wed Nov 30, 2011 2:48 pm

I have just booked and confirmed tuition for FREE cant turn that down 8)

If anyone else wants tuition book it ASAP its on first come first serve basis. I have never driven Brands before in a car although I know the circuit very well but from bicycle racing so a different kettle of fish; 53mph max out of Paddock   It be worth finding out the correct way to drive Brands in a GTA and learn how to be quicker all round. They say the best perfomance gain is learning to get the max out of what you have.

Car is apart at the moment as doing various bits over winter otherwise I would have considered going :( Assume non participating people are allowed into padock area, they have been on track days that I have been too before? If so then I may pop down for an hour or so

Hope the weather holds out as I heard that a track day was cancelled at Brands a few weeks back because of visabilty issue with fog. :(

Cheers

If anyone wants passenger rides I have spare Omp Helmet its about £20 or £30 quid rather than juts spectating I dont mind, itll be helpful as I am going blind if you can give me rough directions and tell me when to brake and turn in that'll be great

Only joking, not sure if its too late to register passengers; If anyone is interested I can ask. I wont be trying to kill me or the car either  or anyone else either come to think of it :P

I've heard on the vine that someone has complained about the price  ...... WHAT :?:

sorry but i've got to post it...... £99 from £124 for..... open pitlane, free ards instruction session which is normally around £25 on it's own , garage space, and snacks and drinks complementry all day..... sorry..... but to complain about that is an embarassment especially after Mr D has sorted out the discount, and it was good VFM in the first place,

so go get your credit card and book it you know who you are , there's still a couple of places left and weather looks promising..... i think it's amazing value bit of a gamble on the weather though but well worth it
